The cross-border transfer of personal data, for example to group companies or service providers abroad, is becoming increasingly difficult. The February 2022 Data Protection Newsletter therefore addresses this issue and outlines the requirements under Swiss data protection law for the transfer of personal data abroad and how such transfers can be structured in compliance with the law.
