Stefan Bürge advises and litigates particularly in the areas of scale-up (growing organizations), sustainability, and intellectual property. As a solution-oriented legal generalist, he possesses comprehensive expertise in negotiating and contractually structuring collaborations between organizations, and specializes in the protection and utilization of inventions and know-how. This also includes technology development and market entry implementation. Furthermore, he leverages his experience to provide practical and strategic advice to the creative and non-profit sector (foundations, associations).
Stefan Bürge was General Counsel at Climeworks and built and led interdisciplinary, international teams in various countries. Before his role at Climeworks, he worked as a lawyer at a leading Swiss business law firm and studied at the University of St. Gallen and Stanford University. He is a consultant and a member of boards of directors, and was recognized as Swiss Corporate Counsel of the Year 2024 (Energy/Renewable Energies) by legalcommunity.ch/ACC Europe.
